Michele Softness obtained a
Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New York at Buffalo. In 1982,
Ms. Softness received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of
Miami School of Law. Ms. Softness has many years of experience practicing in
the area of commercial real estate transactions and litigation. Her practice
over the years largely has focused on complex construction cases for commercial
developers throughout Florida. Ms. Softness has represented commercial
developers in all phases of real estate development, including the negotiation
and drafting of constructions contracts for developers, contractors and
subcontractors. In addition, Ms. Softness has represented financial
institutions in varied loan transactions, including asset based lending, and has
represented both purchasers and sellers of commercial properties. At Isicoff,
Ragatz & Koenigsberg, Ms. Softness concentrates her practice in the areas of
commercial lending and real estate transactions.
Ms. Softness is a member of the
Florida Bar and the Dade County Bar Association. She is actively involved in
the South Miami community and serves as a fundraiser for various civic and
health organizations.
