Jay Koenigsberg has practiced law in Miami, Florida since 1984, and manages the firm's business transactions practice. Mr. Koenigsberg's client base is comprised of institutional lenders and individual investors and developers. He has particular expertise in advising lenders and borrowers in loan restructuring and work-outs and is widely recognized for finding creative and practical solutions for his clients involved in loan and business transactions. Mr. Koenigsberg is named one of the top attorneys in South Florida by the South Florida Legal Guide, has been selected for inclusion on the 2009 Florida Super Lawyer list, is AV® rated and is certified by the Florida Bar as an expert in Real Estate Law.

Mr. Koenigsberg regularly represents financial institutions in commercial real estate and asset based lending, including structuring and documenting complex construction lending, trade finance, receivable and inventory financing, equipment leasing and financing and inter-creditor agreements.

Mr. Koenigsberg earned a B.A., magna cum laude, from Boston University in 1981 and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami in 1984. He is a member of several professional and civic organizations.
